MoITT, Meta Launch Free Digital and AI Programme for 1,000+ Pakistani SMEs

ISLAMABAD: The Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication (MoITT), in collaboration with Meta, has opened registrations for the Small Business Growth Academy (SBGA), a free training programme aimed at helping small and medium enterprises across Pakistan expand through digital and artificial intelligence tools.

The programme will provide practical training to more than 1,000 SMEs, with women-led businesses particularly encouraged to participate.

Participants will learn how to use Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp Business to reach customers, strengthen their online presence and create content aimed at business growth.

The training will also cover digital advertising, including audience targeting, budgeting and campaign optimisation, alongside AI-powered tools for advertising and content creation.

Organisers say the programme will help businesses improve productivity and expand their customer base both within Pakistan and in international markets.

SBGA is being implemented by AtomCamp, with support from Ignite – National Technology Fund, SMEDA, P@SHA, PSEB and DialZero.

Registrations are currently open, while training is scheduled to begin in September 2026.

The initiative is part of wider efforts to equip Pakistani businesses with digital skills and AI capabilities as online commerce and technology-driven business models continue to reshape markets.
