OnePlus has officially unveiled its new Nord CE6 series, introducing high-refresh-rate displays, large batteries, and upgraded 5G performance as competition intensifies in the mid-range smartphone market.
The lineup includes the Nord CE6 and Nord CE6 Lite, both featuring 144Hz displays and support for 5G connectivity, with the company focusing heavily on gaming, battery endurance, and long-term software support.
The standard Nord CE6 comes with a Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset, a 1.5K AMOLED display, and a massive 8,000mAh battery paired with 80W fast charging. Meanwhile, the CE6 Lite features a MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Apex processor, a 7,000mAh battery, and a 144Hz LCD display.
Both devices run on OxygenOS 16 based on Android 16 and include AI-powered software features aimed at improving productivity, gaming, and camera performance.
OnePlus says the new series is designed to deliver flagship-like experiences in the affordable premium segment, with improved cooling systems, enhanced gaming frame rates, and extended software update support.
Industry analysts say the Nord CE6 series reflects a growing trend among smartphone brands to bring high-refresh displays, oversized batteries, and AI-driven features into mid-range devices as users increasingly prioritize gaming, streaming, and all-day performance.
