Vivo has officially unveiled key details of its upcoming flagship foldable smartphone, the Vivo X Fold6, highlighting major upgrades in display technology, camera performance, and multitasking capabilities ahead of its anticipated launch later this month.
The company says the foldable device will feature a large next-generation inner display designed to enhance productivity and multitasking, allowing users to run multiple applications simultaneously while taking advantage of the expanded screen space. Vivo has also introduced new software optimizations aimed at delivering a smoother and more efficient foldable experience.
Photography is expected to be one of the device’s strongest selling points. Reports indicate that the X Fold6 will feature a powerful 200-megapixel main camera paired with advanced ZEISS imaging technologies and AI-powered photography enhancements, positioning it among the most camera-focused foldable smartphones on the market.
The foldable is also tipped to feature an 8.02-inch premium inner display with ultra-high brightness and advanced eye-protection technologies, while Vivo has confirmed a strong focus on productivity through enhanced multi-window functionality and foldable-specific software features.
Industry reports further suggest the device could pack one of the largest batteries ever seen in a foldable smartphone, potentially approaching the 7,000mAh mark, alongside MediaTek’s new Dimensity 9500 Super Edition chipset.
With flagship cameras, a larger display, AI-powered features, and a massive battery, the Vivo X Fold6 is shaping up to be one of the most ambitious foldable smartphones of 2026 as competition in the premium foldable segment continues to intensify.
