Mobile phone users across Pakistan are set to pay more for call and internet bundles after telecom operators increased prices of several hybrid and data packages by up to 33%, according to updated tariff details published by the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA).

The regulator has released revised tariff sheets for 15 hybrid and data-only packages on its website, reflecting the latest prices approved for mobile operators. The updated information also includes existing package rates, validity periods, data volumes and call allowances, enabling consumers to compare offers across different telecom companies.

According to the revised tariffs, monthly call and data bundles have become costlier by as much as Rs500, while 15-day hybrid packages have seen increases of up to Rs300. Weekly hybrid bundles have risen by up to Rs130, three-day packages by up to Rs21, two-day bundles by up to Rs20 and one-day hybrid offers by Rs5.

PTA said it has further enhanced its consumer awareness section by publishing comprehensive tariff information for the selected packages. The regulator said the updated tariff sheets provide quarterly pricing trends, package validity and service details to help users make informed decisions.

The authority said consumers can now easily compare packages offered by different mobile operators through the online portal, adding that transparency in the telecom sector and protection of consumer interests remain among its top priorities.
