vivo X500 Series Leak Hints at Bigger Batteries, Major Camera Upgrade

ISLAMABAD

vivo’s upcoming X500 smartphone series is shaping up to be one of the company’s biggest hardware upgrades yet, with leaks pointing to significantly larger batteries and advanced new camera technology ahead of launch.

According to reports, the lineup could include multiple models such as the X500, X500 Pro, and a new X500e variant, with vivo reportedly planning major improvements in battery life and photography performance.

Industry leaks suggest some X500 models may feature battery capacities exceeding 7,000mAh, marking a major jump over previous generations and intensifying competition in the flagship smartphone market.

Camera upgrades are also expected to play a central role, with reports pointing to new-generation Sony LOFIC sensors, enhanced low-light imaging, and high-resolution periscope zoom systems that could reach 200MP on premium variants.

Leaks further indicate that vivo may introduce different flagship MediaTek Dimensity 9600-series chipsets across the lineup, potentially creating performance differences between standard and Pro models.

The company is also rumored to skip the “X400” branding entirely and jump directly to the X500 series, a move reportedly linked to regional naming preferences in Asian markets.

While vivo has not officially confirmed the specifications, analysts say the X500 series could become one of the brand’s most aggressive pushes into the premium flagship segment as smartphone makers increasingly compete on battery endurance, AI photography, and advanced imaging systems.
