Fresh leaks surrounding Vivo X Fold 6 suggest the Chinese tech giant is preparing a major upgrade to its foldable lineup, with a significantly larger battery and a flagship-grade camera system.
According to recent reports, the upcoming device could feature a battery close to 7,000mAh — potentially the largest ever seen in a foldable smartphone — marking a major leap in endurance for the segment.
On the camera front, the X Fold 6 is tipped to include a 200-megapixel primary sensor, accompanied by additional high-resolution ultra-wide and periscope telephoto lenses, positioning it among the most camera-focused foldables to date.
Leaks also point to a high-end MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset, dual displays with a large 2K foldable inner screen, and support for wireless charging — aligning the device with flagship performance standards.
The handset is expected to retain a slim design despite the hardware upgrades, with improved durability and water resistance also being tested, according to industry tipsters.
While details remain unofficial, the device is widely expected to debut in China later this year, as competition intensifies in the premium foldable smartphone market.
Analysts say the X Fold 6 could signal a shift in foldable priorities — moving beyond design innovation toward battery life and camera performance, two areas where earlier foldables have often faced compromises.
