vivo Launches V70 5G in Pakistan with 50MP ZEISS Telephoto Camera

Chinese smartphone maker vivo has officially launched the vivo V70 5G in Pakistan, introducing its latest V Series device featuring advanced portrait photography capabilities developed in collaboration with German optics brand ZEISS.

The new smartphone is built around the company’s “ZEISS Portrait So Pro” concept, aiming to bring professional-grade telephoto imaging and enhanced camera performance to everyday mobile photography.

According to the company, the device’s highlight is a 50-megapixel ZEISS Super Telephoto Camera, powered by the IMX882 ultra-sensing sensor with a large 1/1.95-inch sensor size, designed to capture detailed images even in low-light conditions.

The phone also introduces 4K video recording at 60 frames per second, a first for the V Series, enabling smoother and higher-resolution video capture for concerts, events, and dynamic scenes. A dedicated AI Stage Mode helps optimize images in complex lighting conditions, offering zoom capabilities ranging from 1x to 10x and up to 20x.

Complementing the camera system are several AI-powered photography tools, including AI Magic Landscape for improving outdoor scenes, as well as creative effects such as Snow Town, Aurora, and AI Petal Shower Portrait for enhanced visual storytelling.

Premium Design and Display

The vivo V70 5G features an aerospace-grade aluminum alloy frame designed to enhance durability while maintaining a premium metallic finish. The device adopts a flat display design with rounded edges and ultra-thin bezels.

It is available in two colors — Dune Gray and Aesthetic Black.

The smartphone also comes with a 1.5K Ultra Clear OLED display supporting a 120Hz refresh rate, aimed at delivering smoother visuals and sharper detail for multimedia and gaming.

Performance and Battery

To support intensive tasks such as high-resolution photography and 4K recording, the device includes a 4,200 mm ultra-large vapor chamber cooling system, the largest used in the V Series to date.

The phone is powered by a 6,500 mAh BlueVolt battery paired with 90W FlashCharge, allowing fast charging and extended usage.

Security features include 3D ultrasonic fingerprint scanning, while durability is reinforced through IP68 and IP69 water and dust resistance ratings.

Software and Connectivity

The device runs on OriginOS 6, offering improved performance, smoother animations, and a feature called Origin Island, which displays real-time notifications and system updates in a compact interface.

Vivo said the phone will receive six years of security updates, highlighting its focus on long-term reliability and user privacy.

The vivo V70 5G will be available across Pakistan in two variants:
