Telecommunications services were disrupted in parts of Harnai district in Balochistan after attackers targeted a PTCL telecommunications tower, causing significant damage to critical communications infrastructure.

According to local sources, the damaged tower was providing PTCL landline, DSL broadband, and Ufone mobile network services to the area. The attack led to communication outages in several surrounding localities, affecting both voice and internet connectivity.

Authorities have launched an assessment of the damage and initiated efforts to restore the affected telecom services. The extent of the disruption and the timeline for full restoration have not yet been disclosed.
