Islamabad: The second phase of Pakistan’s 5G spectrum auction intensified as bidding for the 2600 MHz band positioning moved into the second round, officials said on Thursday.
All three telecom operators have shown interest in securing preferred positions in the 2600 MHz spectrum, pushing the process into another competitive stage.
According to officials, the price for the second round has been set at $100,000, while the round will run for 15 minutes, with all three operators actively participating in the online bidding.
The positioning process is considered a key step before operators finalize their network strategy for the rollout of 5G services in Pakistan
