Samsung Galaxy A57 Design Revealed as Launch Nears

Samsung’s upcoming mid-range smartphone, the Galaxy A57, has received its first official design reveal after updated images surfaced on China’s TENAA certification database, offering an early look ahead of its expected launch later this month.

The newly published images show that Samsung is sticking closely to its established design language. The Galaxy A57 retains a flat front and back and the brand’s signature “key island” on the right side, which houses the power and volume buttons.

Refined Camera Module, Slimmer Profile

The most noticeable visual change appears on the rear panel. Samsung has redesigned the camera housing with a two-tier layout, featuring a thicker outer frame in the same color as the device, enclosing a black, pill-shaped inner module for the lenses.

According to TENAA listings, the Galaxy A57 is also slimmer than its predecessor, measuring 6.9mm in thickness, down from 7.4mm, signaling a more refined and lightweight build.

Display and Performance

Certification details indicate the Galaxy A57 will feature a 6.6-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution. The device is powered by an octa-core processor clocked at up to 2.9GHz, which benchmark data suggests may be Samsung’s Exynos 1680 chipset.

Camera and Battery

The smartphone is expected to carry a 50-megapixel main camera, accompanied by a 12-megapixel ultra-wide lens and a 5-megapixel macro sensor. On the front, it features a 12-megapixel selfie camera.

Powering the device is a 5,000mAh battery with support for 45W fast charging, aligning it with Samsung’s recent mid-range offerings.

Software and Expected Launch

The Galaxy A57 will ship with Android 16 running One UI 8, and is listed in 8GB RAM + 256GB storage and 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variants.

Samsung is widely expected to officially unveil the Galaxy A57 in late February, ahead of the launch of its flagship Galaxy S26 series.
