Islamabad, Jan 2026

Jazz has been ranked Pakistan’s best-performing mobile network for overall mobile internet experience in 2025, according to the latest Mobile Connections Barometer released by global network measurement firm nPerf, underscoring the operator’s role in supporting the country’s accelerating digitalisation.

Based on millions of real-world user tests conducted between January 1 and December 31, 2025, the nPerf Barometer assessed mobile internet quality across key performance indicators, including download and upload speeds, latency, web browsing and video streaming. Jazz achieved the highest overall score among all mobile operators, positioning it at the forefront of Pakistan’s mobile broadband landscape.

The report shows Jazz recorded an overall score of 33,369 nPoints, outperforming competitors across several experience-based metrics. Average download speeds on the network stood at 14.99 Mbps, with upload speeds of 6.55 Mbps, while latency was the lowest in the market at 89.61 milliseconds. These results translated into smoother video calls, faster browsing and improved responsiveness for real-time digital services.

Jazz also led in web browsing performance, posting the highest success rate among operators, indicating more consistent page load times and day-to-day reliability for users. In addition, the network ranked among the top performers for video streaming quality, reflecting its ability to handle data-intensive services as demand for digital content continues to rise across the country.

nPerf noted that Jazz recorded the strongest year-on-year improvement among Pakistani operators, with an 11.2% increase in its overall score, a gain attributed to sustained investment in network expansion, capacity upgrades and quality optimisation.

The nPerf Mobile Connections Barometer is based on anonymised, user-initiated measurements rather than controlled laboratory tests, offering a picture of actual customer experience across both urban and rural areas. The 2025 Pakistan assessment drew on data collected throughout the year via the nPerf platform.

Industry analysts say the findings highlight the growing importance of robust mobile broadband as Pakistan pushes ahead with digital transformation. Reliable mobile internet is increasingly central to e-commerce, remote work, digital payments, online education and emerging technologies, particularly in areas where fixed broadband remains limited.

Jazz said the ranking reflects its focus on building a resilient, high-quality network to meet the country’s expanding digital needs. As Pakistan advances its digital economy agenda, improvements in mobile internet performance are expected to play a critical role in enabling inclusive access, supporting innovation and strengthening the foundations of a digitally connected society.
