Islamabad, 30 January 2026 – Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi is reportedly preparing to launch its next-generation device, the Xiaomi 17T, following the September release of the 15T and 15T Pro. Leaked information from the HyperOS 3 code suggests significant upgrades, particularly in battery capacity and performance.
According to the leak, the Xiaomi 17T will feature a 6,500 mAh battery, a 1,000 mAh increase over its predecessor, while retaining 67W wired charging support. Photography enthusiasts can expect a familiar yet refined setup: a 50MP main camera with optical image stabilization (OIS), a 50MP telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom, and a 12MP ultrawide lens.
The device will reportedly be powered by the Dimensity 9400 chipset, offering improved speed and efficiency over the Dimensity 8400 used in the 15T.
While Xiaomi has not officially confirmed these specifications, industry analysts anticipate that the 17T could launch by September 2026. Fans and tech reviewers are closely monitoring leaks, suggesting more details will emerge in the coming months.
This latest development underscores Xiaomi’s continued push to strengthen its mid-to-high-end smartphone segment, offering consumers enhanced battery life and camera capabilities without compromising charging speeds.
