vivo V70 5G Debuts in Pakistan with 50MP ZEISS Super Telephoto Camera

Vivo has officially launched the vivo V70 5G in Pakistan, introducing a flagship-grade 50MP ZEISS Super Telephoto Camera aimed at elevating mobile portrait and stage photography.

Co-engineered with long-standing partner ZEISS, the V70 5G is built around the theme “ZEISS Portrait So Pro,” combining professional telephoto precision with everyday usability. The device is powered by the IMX882 Ultra-Sensing Sensor and a large 1/1.95-inch sensor, delivering enhanced low-light performance and long-range clarity.

For the first time in the V Series lineup, the smartphone supports 4K 60fps video recording, enabling smoother motion capture and sharper detail during live performances and dynamic scenes. An AI-powered Stage Mode allows users to manage complex lighting conditions, offering zoom flexibility from 1x up to 20x.

The launch campaign is fronted by Pakistani music icon Atif Aslam, who represents the brand’s focus on confidence, creativity and expression. Company officials said the collaboration reflects vivo’s ambition to empower users to capture “star moments” with professional finesse.

Design and Performance

The V70 5G features an aerospace-grade aluminum alloy frame with a flat display and ultra-thin bezels. It is available in Dune Gray and Aesthetic Black finishes, reinforcing the brand’s premium design direction.

Under the hood, the device houses a 6,500mAh battery supported by 90W FlashCharge technology and includes IP68 and IP69-rated dust and water resistance. A 1.5K OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate delivers fluid visuals, while a 4,200mm ultra-large vapor chamber cooling system ensures stability during extended video recording and gaming sessions.

Running on OriginOS 6, the smartphone promises enhanced responsiveness and long-term reliability, backed by six years of security updates.

Price and Availability

The vivo V70 5G will be available nationwide in two variants — 12GB+256GB priced at Rs169,999 and 12GB+512GB at Rs184,999. Pre-orders begin on March 3, with official sales commencing from March 7 across Pakistan.

The device is approved by the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority and compatible with all local networks. As part of a promotional offer, Zong 4G users can receive 12GB of free internet over six months.

The launch underscores intensifying competition in Pakistan’s premium smartphone segment, as brands focus on advanced imaging and AI-driven features to attract tech-savvy consumers.
