The Government of Sindh has approved the launch of an artificial intelligence-based job portal and a digital complaint resolution system aimed at connecting persons with disabilities to employment opportunities and public services across the province.
Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah gave the green light to the initiative, which will be developed in collaboration with the Sukkur Institute of Business Administration.
Officials said the AI-powered platform will feature skill-based job matching to facilitate placements in both public and private sectors. The portal will support Sindhi, Urdu and English, enabling wider accessibility and ensuring a direct link between the provincial government and persons with disabilities.
The system is also designed to strengthen merit-based recruitment across provincial departments and streamline communication between applicants and authorities.
Phased Launch Timeline
According to officials, the AI-driven job portal is expected to go live by May 2026, while the digital complaint resolution system will be launched in July 2026.
The initiative aligns with the Sindh Employment of Persons with Disabilities Act 2018, which mandates a five percent employment quota in government departments, the establishment of support mechanisms, a centralized disability database and standardized certification procedures.
Speaking on the occasion, the chief minister said the move aims to enhance employment opportunities, promote inclusion and ensure that persons with disabilities are integrated more effectively into the province’s socio-economic framework.
Policy analysts say the introduction of AI-driven matching tools marks a significant step toward digitizing welfare services in Sindh, as authorities seek to modernize public service delivery and improve transparency in recruitment.
