New leaks suggest that Poco’s next X-series smartphones could come with significantly larger batteries and fast-charging capabilities, positioning the devices for power users in Pakistan and global markets.
According to the leaks, the Poco X8 Pro may feature a 6,500mAh battery, while the X8 Pro Max could pack a massive 8,500mAh battery, marking the largest ever in a Poco device. Both models are expected to support 100W wired charging, designed to reduce charging times for these high-capacity cells.
The hardware reportedly mirrors Redmi’s Turbo lineup, with the X8 Pro resembling the Redmi Turbo 5, and the X8 Pro Max drawing from the Redmi Turbo 5 Max, though with slightly smaller batteries than their Redmi counterparts.
Other expected specifications include:
- Poco X8 Pro: 6.59-inch AMOLED display (1268×2756 resolution), 120Hz refresh rate, MediaTek Dimensity 8500 SoC, 12GB or 16GB RAM, 256GB or 512GB storage, and a 50MP main camera with OIS.
- Poco X8 Pro Max: 6.83-inch AMOLED display (1280×2772 resolution), 120Hz refresh rate, MediaTek Dimensity 9500s SoC, similar RAM and storage options, and the same camera setup.
Analysts say the combination of large batteries, high-end displays, and capable processors could make the X8 Pro series particularly attractive to users who prioritize long battery life and performance.
The leak adds to growing expectations for Poco’s X-series refresh, though official details and pricing for the Pakistani market are yet to be announced.
