ISLAMABAD:
Pakistan’s leading mobile wallet JazzCash has introduced ‘Sehat+’, a new in-app feature aimed at expanding access to digital health protection and insurance services for millions of users.
Developed in partnership with EFU Life Assurance, Sehat+ enables customers to access a range of healthcare and financial protection services directly through the app, marking a significant expansion of JazzCash’s digital ecosystem beyond payments.
The platform allows users to compare and purchase health insurance plans, access small-ticket cashless coverage at EFU Life panel hospitals, receive instant digital health cards, and locate verified healthcare facilities. It also offers online doctor consultations, instant health financing, and exclusive discounts on medical services.
To improve accessibility, particularly for underserved segments, the feature includes Urdu-language support, making it easier for users to navigate and make informed decisions regarding their healthcare needs.
Officials say the introduction of affordable, small-scale insurance plans is designed to bridge gaps in health coverage, enabling wider segments of the population to benefit from formal insurance services.
The launch underscores JazzCash’s broader strategy to evolve into a comprehensive digital platform integrating financial services, payments, and now healthcare solutions within a single mobile application.
